The Franklin Alcohol Beverage Control Board is located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina with an elevation range of 1,900 – 5,500 feet.
Franklin, population 3,600 year round residents (which increases to well over 10,000 during the seasonal months), is the county seat of Macon County. The town is approximately 3.34 square miles.
The Franklin ABC Board is a local political subdivision of the State that operates as a separate entity overseen by a three-member board of directors.
The Franklin ABC Board wants to consistently provide great customer service in a clean, spacious shopping environment, and as having one of the largest selections and stocked facilities in the state of North Carolina.

To enhance the quality of life in and around the area of Franklin and Macon County, with effective enforcement of the liquor laws of the State of North Carolina, while maximizing revenues through responsible alcohol sales.
